Encounter Baptist Church - our new name

Encounter Baptist Church (ordinary people, extraordinary God) is the new name and tagline we have chosen for the new missional congregation that we formed with people from Syndal, Chadstone and Stonnington Baptist churches.

We have chosen them to reflect something of who we are and what we are commited to.  We are a Baptist church made up of ordinary everyday people who love, trust and follow an extraordinary God.  We believe it is in our encounters with this extraordinary God that our lives are transformed.
